Abigail
Torres
is the Administrative Associate at UNH, providing administrative/clerical
support to the Director of Finance & Administration with tasks related to
benefits administration, such as insurances, retirement plan, payroll and
audit. Prior to joining UNH in 2009, Abby served 15 years at National Urban
Fellows, Inc. (NUF), a national non-profit leadership development organization.
She served as Program Manager for her last 5 years there. In that role, she
oversaw the annual campaign to recruit 50 outstanding leaders nationwide. She
coordinated the receipt of over 150 applications annually; reviewed applicant
materials; established screening and selection committees for both alumni and
mentors; prepared applications for review by committee members, and assisted
with the final selection of Fellows. Abby is a proud native New
Yorker.
