Katie Cardwell started at UNH in 2018 as a Community Organizer and Trainer, working on maintaining and developing programs related to the Institute for Empowered Aging. As needs changed, her position shifted, and she is now the Professional Development and Data Analysis manager. She oversees grant compliance, offers technical assistance to members around member services offerings, produces internal and external reports, and continues to work with the Institute for Empowered Aging on intergenerational center initiatives. She runs the Intergen and Data & Evaluation Peer Groups.
Katie's love of settlement houses began during her second-year social work internship at Fordham University, where she was placed at Queen Community House's Pomonok Center. Shifting to UNH after graduating in 2018 seemed like a natural path forward, continuing to support settlement houses in the vital work that they do.
In her spare time, Katie is typically chasing after her two dogs (a husky and husky mix), playing games (board, tabletop, video), and enjoying time with family.
