Intergenerational work isn’t just two different generations in a room together, or one generation serving another. It is truly impactful when there is a real exchange of experiences between generations, and when community members (especially older adults) are meaningfully involved in planning and facilitating the intergenerational work.

Generations Connect helps organizations develop impactful intergenerational programming and to embed intergenerational work as part of their organization’s culture. Here are three ways to learn more:

We have developed a resource hub with tools for you to create your intergenerational community center. We also provide a physical toolbox to settlement houses who participate in our trainings.
