Kevin Douglas

Kevin Douglas joined UNH in 2011 as a Policy Analyst to advance employment, skill building and educational opportunities for youth, young adults and immigrants. In this role he helps coordinate three city-wide coalitions that advocate for sound city and state investments and policy decisions: the Campaign for Summer Jobs (CSJ), centered on the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), the NYC City Coalition for Adult Literacy (NYCCAL), focused on Adult Literacy, ESOL and GED Reform, and the Campaign for Tomorrow’s Workforce (CTW), dedicated to the challenge of reconnecting out-of-school youth to education and employment. Kevin also leads UNHs’ Workforce Development policy work and plays an active role in promoting UNH’s overall state legislative priorities.
Prior to UNH, Kevin worked at the national non-profit Resources for Human Development (RHD), leading both its grassroots organizing efforts in Philadelphia and state-level advocacy for mental health services. Kevin has also worked to promote a universal health care system in Connecticut as well as advocate at the state and national levels for the construction and preservation of affordable housing. Kevin holds an M.S.W from the University of Pennsylvania with a focus in Public Policy.
