Founded in 1901, the School Settlement Association offers comprehensive educational, family and community services to children, youth, families and seniors at several locations within its community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. School Settlement is also the parent organization of the School Settlement Home Attendant Service Corporation, which provides home care to both Medicaid-eligible and private-pay homebound elderly and disabled individuals.

School Settlement provides services to approximately 1,500 residents a year, the majority living in various neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens. All services are focused on assisting individuals as they strive to improve their economic and social self-sufficiency. Programs include: an after-school program; literacy program; summer camp; Attendance Improvement Dropout Prevention programs at two local high schools; computer classes in a computer room that is open to all; a game room; Career Options, and two home attendant services.

If you would like more information about School Settlement Association, please call, fax or e-mail us. We would be happy to provide a more detailed description of our programs and services.
