Broadway Housing Communities (BHC) is a New York City non-profit housing developer committed to providing innovative permanent housing for individuals and families in the greatest need.

Founded in 1983 and originally known as Committee for the Heights Inwood Homeless, Broadway Housing has a 20-year track record in community housing development and management providing nearly 300 units of supportive housing in the communities of Washington Heights and West Harlem.

BHC housing, known as supportive housing, combines permanent low-income housing with support services designed to meet the needs of its tenants and enable them to live independently. Services include medical and mental health care, vocational training and job placement, substance abuse treatment, benefits counseling and training and assistance with independent living skills. At BHC's newest project, Dorothy Day Apartments, these services are enhanced with enriched and intensive educational programs for resident children and their parent/guardian
