Temporary Peer Mentor

Job Description

The Temporary Peer Mentor will report to the School-Age Program Coordinator.  This individual will work as part of a new innovative afterschool program for teens funded for one year.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Currently attending High School with satisfactory academic performance
• Must possess working papers
• Past participation at Hamilton-Madison House, a plus

Responsibilities: 

• Provide mentoring to 13-17 year olds
• Assist in the design of Math and Vocabulary quizzes for the program participants
• Share High School experiences with peers
• Conduct street outreach for program activities

Salary Information

$8.00 per hour, 5 hours per week
