Job Description

Office Manager will reports to Director of City Hall Senior Center

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Administrative office experience, minimum 5 years
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
  • Proficient in the use of office software programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to manage a lively office
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects
  • Some college is a plus

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Center director, be responsible for overall organization and supervision of clerical and administrative work.

  • Performs clerical functions, including typing, filing, answering phone and logging in mail.
  • Train, supervise and coordinate the work of clerical aides, interns and volunteers as related to administrative tasks.
  • Establish and maintain files and records.
  • Collect and deposit participant contributions.
  • Voucher petty cash expenses and maintain records.
  • Prepare statistical and financial reports.
  • May conduct client intake.
  • Other duties as assigned by the director.

Salary Information

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Hours: Monday through Friday, Full time
