We are seeking a Supervisor of Data Reporting and Evaluation on the Information Systems and Analytics team who will work with the early childhood department to improve the Salesforce configuration for each early childhood program and come up with solutions for accurate and efficient data management. This person will act as a dedicated liaison between the early childhood division and the Information Systems and Analytics team, working to understand all of the early childhood programs' requirements for Salesforce, helping to develop thoughtful metrics with which to measure program outputs and outcomes, designing custom solutions in Salesforce to capture these metrics, and supporting staff to understand and maximize their utilization of the system.


  • Support an agency culture shift towards one which embraces evaluation and data as a method for learning and continuous improvement
  • Partner with early childhood programs to develop a set of core inputs, outputs and outcomes to be collected in a standardized way across all early childhood programs at the settlement
  • Build a work plan for developing systems to track new core data for the entire division
  • Develop metrics and methods to collect and analyze data regarding program performance and quality, within programs and across programs where possible
  • Provide training and support and supervision to early childhood education staff around data management and reporting
  • Create documentation on processes and policies to maintain data integrity
  • Partner with program staff and other teams on process improvements to improve data quality
  • Establish positive working relationships and provide ongoing support for Salesforce users
  • Work with Compliance Director, ERSEA (Enrollment Registration Selection Enrollment Attendance) Director, and Senior Directors to ensure data systems align with program policies and procedures
  • Ensure all early childhood program documentation and case records are pursuant to data management procedures and contractual obligations
  • Run monthly reports from the agency's data management system to ensure staff are up to date with data entry and to identify missing or inaccurate data; provide training to staff not meeting data entry requirements
  • Work with early childhood managers to create QA dashboards and reports that will allow them to track program and contract performance and outcomes
  • Compile all early childhood data and reports into dashboards; regularly analyze dashboards with senior leaders in order to inform programmatic decisions
  • Work with program managers and University Settlement's development team to prepare grant proposals and funder reports; maintain a calendar of proposal and report deadlines for each contract and grant
  • Track performance on all early childhood contracts and grants and work with program managers to ensure all participant and outcomes data is being collected and entered into the agency's data management system and that programs are on track to meet deliverables and goals
  • Provide analytic support for the development team in producing foundation reports and metrics 
  • Attend all relevant meetings, trainings, workshops and outside events
  • Handle any appropriate responsibilities and functions as assigned by Director


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required
  • Salesforce experience required
  • Salesforce certified professional a plus
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding and practice of the principles of early childhood education
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and multitask while adhering to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong computer and data management skills required
  • Ability to interface and work well with all levels of staff while maintaining confidentiality
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word and Excel
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and adherence to department policies and procedures

Salary Information
