Aging

UNH's advocacy goals in aging services are:

  • To ensure access by older adults and their families to services and activities along a continuum of care intended to support a lifestyle as independent and dignified as possible.
  • To secure funds for: operation and maintenance of adult day services and senior centers; case management and home care; Meals-on-Wheels and congregate meals; mental health services; recreation; affordable housing and transportation for seniors.
