Membership Applications

UNH welcomes membership by community organizations that meet its Membership Standards which include service provision to multi-age populations, and a mission to strengthen individuals and families, and communities.

Upon an expression of interest in joining UNH (email: nwackstein@unhny.org or kwalters@unhny.org), organizations will be contacted to arrange for follow-up exchange of information and submission of a Membership Application, if appropriate.

After organizational documents are submitted as part of the Application, a team including a UNH Board member and two settlement house executive directors visits the applicant organization to discuss its compliance with UNH Standards. The team then makes a recommendation to the UNH Board, which takes final action.
